Message One of which was an in-depth review of the 300ZX's beginnings, the years of research that went into the motor design before it rolled off the line, etc. The other book was a hard-cover if memory serves (the first was the Road & Track 300ZX Special Mag dedicated).

Now, I may have the exact description of what happens a bit off, but that doesn't change that it is a cross-flow design and that you are negating it with most FMICs. Rememeber that part about "I am not an expert"?

The funny thing is, that's just the tip of the iceberg and the ONLY thing that I've found to be hard-locked in print. I didn't even touch on the various other things that people like T0m, Greg, Kyle and others have mentioned at one point or another. Things like pressure drop, core sizes, exposed surface area and a billion other things that show why an FMIC on a Z32 specifically is not a good idea. Again, I'm not an expert but I do know one thing: Stick with sidemounts.
